Adam Wharton A debut start in an England shirt. A bit careless on the ball however his dangerous set-pieces posed a danger. An effective game manager available to the manager to utilize against sides that sit back. Shown a yellow for a rash tackle. Six

The midfielder Set-pieces from dead balls and free kicks created chances. Had freedom to drift down the left flank but was offside as the pass came in shooting positions. Granted a well-earned rest around the 60-minute point. Six

The star midfielder Functioned in a forward spot down the right and also contributed with dirty work. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance but dragged an effort wide. Withdrawn towards the end by Rogers, his competition, following a yellow card. Seven

The winger Had England’s best chance in the opening period, his effort smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. As Quansah hanging back, he was forced to provide width out wide but his crosses from the touchline were hit and miss. Taken off late in the match. Six

The captain The match-winner scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes for his country. The first a trademark poacher’s finish and his next an excellent finish with his head following a clever run away from the opposition. Now 32, he’s only getting better with the national team stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament when he's in the team. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to make an impact out wide. Was presented with a good opening after being played in by Bellingham but the keeper denied him. Rashford made much more of effect when substituted. 5
