Without key players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a commanding win that virtually secures them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.

A further victory in their next fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to seal direct entry to the last 16, especially after a previous stumble against Strasbourg.

This match provided a chance for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second game in match.

The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
