Your Perfect Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Zodiac Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm across the fandom. From the one-by-one reveal of newcomers before the game's launch, to trainers developing firm opinions on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for Aries, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as always furious, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram much more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the good side of both and enjoy a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Much like a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has aided numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed love of snacks. Many past official descriptions note their fondness for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Super Medicham

Look at this total royalty. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an constant fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to listen. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its capacity to predict an enemy’s next moves, which seems quite like a people-smart Gemini.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for frequently getting absorbed in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to make a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Fans couldn’t look away from the violet starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Lion offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive being, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Always empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would likely benefit from Super Audino's skills. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them stress more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often consistently think they’re right. The thing is, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very first Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is possibly the non-flame placement that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being chaotic accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
